Tattooing
Eternal Nirvana was established in 1995 in Brooklyn N.Y, moved to the Caribbean in 1999 and to the U.K. in 2003. We’re currently based in Reading.
Each one of our tattooists is first and foremost an artist, and this comes across in their work. Every tattoos that we do is unique and personalised for the customer’s needs.
We sustain an accommodating, professional, respectful, safe and comfortable environment for all. Free from Egos, Rockstar attitudes and intimidation of any kind.
With over 25yrs of experience we specialise in all styles of tattooing. Including Heavy tribal black work, black and grey, Japanese, neo traditional, Americana, Dot work, and colour realism. We also specialise in Coverups, re-working, re-colouring, re-defining. Of aged, faded, or incomplete tattoos in need of repair or modernisation. We also camouflage scars, burns or other skin anomalies such as birthmarks or hyperpigmentation.
All of our tattoo artists use disposable, one-use-only sterile equipment.
Think carefully about where you want your tattoo, remember that a tattoo in a very prominent place can affect your life in quite serious ways.
Appropriate tattoo aftercare is very important, and we will go through this with you, at the end of your session. Please bear in mind that it takes about two full weeks for your new tattoo to heal completely, during which time you must try to avoid swimming, saunas and direct sunlight.
If you have any questions or concerns about tattoos, are thinking of getting a tattoo but do not know where to start, come into the studio to have a chat with one of the artists, or email over your ideas.
Laser Removal
Laser tattoo removal is the process of applying light and energy in the form of heat, to pigment in the skin. This makes the pigment molecules expand and break down and disrupts the natural settling process. This allows the body to reject the larger molecules and absorb the smaller molecules.
Laser treatment can be painful, however everyone is different. If you are worried, there are numbing creams that are available for our clients if they are necessary.
As a result of treatment, some blistering can occur, this is the natural response of our body, and is a way of cooling the area down so that faster healing can occur. If this should happen the main thing to remember is not to tamper with the blisters in any way.
Keeping the area cool and clean is the best way to take care of the area, and if necessary ice can be applied to cool the area down.
We usually recommend at least 4 or 5 weeks between treatments, depending on the size of the tattoo.
Laser Removal
The number of treatments needed for each tattoo depends entirely upon the healing ability of each individual.
Many factors play a part in the removal process, and before we start it is very difficult to give an accurate estimate.
For complete removal you might expect somewhere between 5–20 treatments.
If you are thinking of lightening your tattoo enough for a cover-up, it is important to have a chat with us about your intentions so that we can work with the area that need to be treated the most.
Cost per laser session starts from £40 and goes upwards from there, however later on in the treatment prices can be reduced. Price is based on the size, the detail and the age of the tattoo.
